My Paul, he’s completely deaf, blind, and has a touch of dementia… but he’s in good spirits. He takes a daily dog aspirin, he pees everywhere except on the pee pads, but I don’t care, my forever friend is still with me.

I know the days are numbered, I know the time is coming, When he’s ready, he’s ready, until then. I treasure every moment I have with him.

I was inspired a couple of weeks ago to write this song, but I didn’t have the inspiration to work on the composition, until last night.
