The Truth about my first Rap Music Video for Gangster Rapper Jon “Bad Boy” Dough

3 years ago, I was scared my life was in danger when a Gang Member who had just finished serving 25 years, (Half his Life) in prison who had taken issue with me. It was a very scary moment for me, but the story had such a unique special ending that i have not shared until now.. This is the true story of how I meet Jon “Bad Boy” Dough.

Here is the original post on Facebook of my first encounter with him…; 3 years Ago

Hey, I’m in mortal danger. My life is seriously in danger. The Gang Member here the one I share a bathroom with… he has it in for me.. he stabbed some Tuesday afternoon, with a 4 inch blade, kind of like the one I told reported.. On Monday I told them I reported it, and they have done very little about.

This started when MY cell phone was lost, the person who found it was on camera picking it up, and is also on camera handing it over to the gang member his name is Erik. when Co fronted he denied it, even with the security camera, he said it was an LG phone… this happened Friday.

I reported it lost immediately, that is how the security reviewed the cameras and saw it… they asked me to wait and and talk with the supervision.. she cam in on Saturday.. I told her, and she also put me off until Monday, when she had more resources she said.. she was so dismissive, instead of searching his room and finding the phone.. they knocked on his door and asked him to return the phone. All that did was anger him.

SUNDAY he taunted me, intimidated, Monday comes around and I had to explain the whole thing over to my case manager here… she had me speak to the other program manager who said they were unaware of what happened. The manager I spoke to was not in. Tuesday afternoon the guy was stabbed in front of the building.. I find out about it last night as 730pm. They had been keeping the stabbing quiet…

I locked myself into the room, barricaded the bathroom.. I sent text messages to my case worked and to the program manager, that I spoke to on Monday. That was last night, I managed to put my security camera out the window, and could see clearly the way in and out.. the back end of this building wide open to anyone to come and go.

Without being on camera.. this guy is a hard-core Crip, gangster that did 25 years, 10 of it in the hole. I am terrified, no one responded to me last night, and as of this morning, I had to call me caseworker first. She said all me texts came through to her this morning. NOTHING.

I called my casework, at 9am she said she was gonna call the manager and have them come up and talk with me. She said she didn’t know how to handle it. I am terrified to leave the room. Been sitting here a half hour. I’m not walking outside. This guy is in the middle of exerting his ownership over this neighborhood. The stabbing was a message to the people outside he was in charge.. so anyone of them could try something.

NOW I’m waiting for these fools to figure out what the he’ll they are doing. By them doing nothing and basically letting him get away away the phone even though he is on camera they just emboldened him.. still waiting for someone to come and talk to me.

Well after this event, he discovered that I had all my recording equipment with me, and well of course he is a rapper and wanted me to record him rapping.. He gave me 10 minuets to get my shit together and meet him out front of the building. When I arrived with camera and lights I learned I was going to make a rap video.. Me rap video.. But I did it..

Here is the link to that Rap Video.. on my youtube channel..check it out, tell me what you think in the comments below.

It came out pretty good for only having 10 mins prep time… after that day, we stayed up all night in my room for a couple of nights recording audio of him rapping.. He was pretty good actually.

We ended up recording so much audio that it added up to a huge amount of data… and all he had to store his music on was his cell phone. He didn’t understand anything about the technology all he new was that I had his music. I ended up buying him a large SD Card Storage card for his phone, and uploaded the 10 hours of recording to his phone.

When I left the temporary housing and moved in to my new apartment, I told him I had an old speaker with built in amp and microphone in my storage and that I would give it to him when i got it out. I left and it wasn’t until a week later that I returned as i said I would and gave him the speaker.

He was very surprised, more like shocked that i returned. he was very appreciative and thanked me and said “Smillie, your alright”.

About 6 months later I walked across the street to the corner market and their he was standing just inside the door. He had a couple of his gang with him. When he noticed me, I could tell that he was concerned how his friends would act if they saw me talking to him.. so I played it cool, minded my business and walked away…

A few mins later, he came out and found me.. he was very appreciative what I did, and he added.. I don’t have friends, but you Smillie are a friend to me. You are a man of your word, you say what you mean and you do as you say and I respect that. Thank You. And off he went. Never saw him again.

And that is the story of how I meet Jon “Bad Boy” Dough
