About the Artwork

A heart is placed against barbed-wire imagery in a contemporary dark-art treatment that emphasizes tension, boundary, and emotional exposure. Modern-art and pop-art influences keep the composition graphic and direct rather than purely gothic.

About the Collection

Hearts explores one of visual culture’s most enduring symbols through romance, anatomy, darkness, humor, spirituality, color, abstraction, and transformation. Across the collection, hearts appear broken, crowned, winged, anatomical, barbed, radiant, dripping, floral, metallic, rainbow, gothic, and surreal—moving between love, pain, resilience, identity, symbolism, and visual experimentation.
